What's hard to explain?
This one belongs to a friend in Grand Rapids. He ran it in Florida as the lakes were just a little frozen up here when he got it done. About $15,000.00 invested.

Too bad that we or at least I can't afford one. My wife has this thing as it is about me spending too much on my toy boats as she keeps saying that the next one I buy I'd better be able to live on it! Actually, that wouldn't be a bad idea!
I've seen Tom's boat up close and personally at his shop but never got to see them run.
With Tom in the video is Peter Mueller who is probably the foremost person in the US that knows RC turbine boats like nobody else.
