I'm interested to know too.

I'm sure the aluminum BB's are better, but the extra $34.00 might turn some people away. It would be nice to know how the Flux BB's hold up to abuse :)

I've been running the Flux big bores for more then a gallon of fuel now and they have held up quite well.

I managed to bend, not break. But bend a shock end after i hit a set of broken dolly legs right as the truck shifted into 3rd.

Still using that same shock end. I got my full set of Flux big bores off of ebay for no more then $33 shipped.

too Spensive for me.

The Flux big bores work great and are super easy on the wallet.

Thanks for all of the heads up on the BB's fellas, still not sure if I will go with the aluminum ones or not, but I know I want to run them...

I picked up a pull start today for my 4.1 and installed it as soon as I got home :)

NO MORE ROTO START FOR ME :)

I ran it and remebered right away why I missed the truck... Don't get me wrong, I love my 4.6 SS, it handles better and overall is like a Caddy compared to my 4.1 but the 4.1 is just a true monster!!! It will tip over in a heart beat if you aren't careful and is a "FUN" handful to drive :)

I also picked up a gallon of 20% Monster Horsepower, I still have a little less than a quart of Traxxas fuel to burn, "I can't wait to start using the MH though..."

My OWB's seem to like the pull starters a lot better than the Roto Start, "even with the Traxxas fuel."

I want to thank everyone that has helped me on here... You guys are awesome...

Savage XL

I'm just running a stock XL with larger fuel line. Everything else is stock. The 5 9 has been really good to me. I'm also running Traxxas 20% fuel and my carb is at 1.25 turns in from the groove. I did notice that the engine could easily be flooded if you hold the exhaust too long when priming the carb. The stock 1200 battery is ok but i usually run a duratrax 1600. I've been in the hobby for over 13 years and I've been away here and there either because of lack of time or lack of funds. Just stinks to live in buffalo because our season is not all year round.

I'm originally from Buffalo too. Been since 92 or so since my last visit. Almost all of my family is either here in FL now or are gone (grandparents, etc.). Sure miss winters, I hate FL. I want to move somewhere where I can get all four seasons and SOME snow, just not Buffalo snow! LOL! One kid off to college and two more years for the other and then we can start to get serious about a move!

That is what I love about Colorado, we get all four season's :)

In the winter, I have plenty of time to take things apart and clean up my trucks to have them ready for spring and summer. We even have some warm winter days here where we can get out and bash :)

I don't think I could handle the heat in Florida, plus I really like the mountains.

Speaking of winter, we get a lot of that in MN, always wanted to get myself a hobby grade snowmobile. Anyone know where I can get one?

Hey MudSlinger,

Have you ever had a Kyosho Blizzard? I used to have a couple of them to run around in the snow with and they were a blast :) I ran brushed mild modified in one and really enjoyed it... I've had thoughts of building a waterproof/brushless Blizzard to bash in the winter, I'm sure I will get to it some day.

Thanks olds, I have heard of artattack before but thought they were out of buisness and didnt know if there was anywhere I could buy one of there sleds. I have heard of people also modifying cheap New Bright snowmobiles with brushless and nitro motors but those are discontinued now. Those kyosho blizzards are pretty cool also.
