RC Driving Style
Today I did break-in my XL, first tank static-idle and second, third tank half throttle driving around. My idle needle seems fine, the car isn't moving and wheels aren't speenning even when you lift the car, so that's fine. But, I still have the feelinf that it is till too rich because it doesn't go as fast as XLs that I've seen on you tube and for instance I wasn't able to lift front wheels at all while driving. Sometimes when I increase the throttle the car would shut down.
Should I lean out the high speed needle until I get better performance?? Should I adjust low speed needle at all? ...if both - which one is adjusted first then?

Thanx heaps

You shouldn't even be thinking of spinning wheels or popping the front end or looking for high speed till you're around tank 10.
The break in, done properly, is essential to the lifetime of the engine.
You should lean the LSN about 1/16 of a turn, keep driving it around for about a half tank, then lean it a hair more for the other half.
The break in can be stubborn at times, but you need to stick with it. After about 5 tanks, you can start to lean the HSN a hair at a time. Keep doing that till you slowly reach performance settings.
Don't expect full power till you've gone through about a gallon.

rolex is right. if properly broken in then the engine life is good in the future. i must have done about a gallon and still running rich. later you can tune it to get the max power.
