savage x 4.6 RF-40 receiver, 7.2v is enable?

I know that the RF-40 receiver of Savage x4.6 supports 6V, but is it possible with a 7.2V~7.4V battery?

as long as you install a ubec first and set it to 6 volts.. now is it 7.3 volts or is it 8.2? same with the 7.4 volts if your going to use a voltage use correct voltage a fully charged battery not the nominal voltage ( my personal BONE)
