Hey everyone sorry for the some what weird question, but is it possible to put a savage trans into the 3.3 revo? I am having a hard time decising which one I really want since both have something I really like. For example I really like the Revo's unique suspension and I really like the option of having a 3speed in the savage. I also like what I hear about the the durablity of the savage but I am pretty sure the revo can have the same with some RPM parts.

BTW this isnt one of those which is better post. I have done my research on both and this is where I am now, trying to find a compromise. So back to the question would it be possible to put a savage trans into a revo 3.3?

If there is a flame possiblity just dont say anything.

Thanks

-Daniel

Probably not. The dimensions and mount patterns would be different. But, I've been known to be wrong.

everything is possible :)

i dont think it would do much for race worthiness of the revo to take out the center diff though.....& I'm guessing the savage trans would have to be regeared, since the revo is a few pounds lighter & small block powered

savage or revo.....from all I've read, you will be very happy with either .....though personaly i think a little happier with the savage ;)

Thanks guys. Does anyone here have both that wouldnt mind looking to see if would be possible?

It's not possible, man, not without hacking the chassis up on the Revo.

Honestly, I have the 3-speed in my Savage and and it's not like it adds a lot of speed or anything.

Is the speed increase noticable?

The savage is a slow brick for the most part, the revo with the 3.3 will have all the speed you will ever need. Believe me it won't be worth the headache to get it to work.
