I glued the servo horn together, so it was effectively one piece.

So when you are on the gas, the brake rod also goes the same direction. I see on yours you have a lock collar on both sides of the brake rod, is that to release the brakes? I would also assume that when you are on the gas, and the brake rod is moving towards the back of the truck, the movement it has is not enough to apply the brakes? Is that correct? I think it is making more sense to me now. Sorry for being a dumb a$$ and not under standing. Sometimes it takes me awhile before I get it.

Yes. I put the collar on mine to make sure the brakes aren't dragging when on the gas.
