Awesome! Have fun building them. Be sure to show us finished pics.

We started them last night, but didn't get very far in. Some of the parts I needed to put together for my son as he's 10 and the parts were even hard for me to do so..

We got up to bag B lol. The upper arms were a pain to assemble and doing 8 of them took me awhile. Tonight we hope to get a good amount done. Will post more pictures as the build progresses.

Best thing about a kit, you'll learn exactly how everything goes together and how to take it apart when needed. Good luck and show us the finished product.

I Wish i have bought the savage ss i would of loved to build from scratch but they only had the savage rtr at the LHS

It's awesome to build your own ride. I built my Savage SS just the same way. The nice thing like people have said is that you'll know where everything goes when it's time to repair it. Plus you can take the time now to make any modifications you want all your initially building them. Good luck and I hope you have fun. There's a lot of threads on here that describe the build process with a lot a good tips so take a look around and about shall find good info.

All I have been doing is reading. I've read so much my head hurts :p:
Thanks for all your great input, can't wait to bash these trucks. Been watching lots of vids and I'm just itching to get out there.

Does anyone know why Traxxas doesn't make kits? I'd like another Traxxas sometime because I love the electric pedes we got. After seeing all this brushless we may pull out the electrics again one day :first_place:
