savage flux turns but wont drive

hi, i have a hpi savage flux worked fine i droped the remote and cracked the antana off so i tryed to swap the receiver to make it work off my revo remote now all it will do is turn but when i hit throttle it does nothing? any ideas of what my problem could be? how many wires are there that plug into the receiver? also i have fixed the remote to the savage it does the same thing with the revo and the savage reveiver.all lights are flashing and it keeps beeping about once a second.

It sounds like you got the throttle and steering connections mixed up. Try reversing the servo connectors and see if that helps.

Whenever doing a TX/RX swap, you will need to reprogram the ESC.
