My savage burns through the brakes pretty quick is this a common problem. It seems last time one of thepads slipped off and went down the dog bone. Everything is installed correctly just constant problem.

I have those on itnow currently and it chewed on up running about 6 tanks of fuel through it. Seem like it tore a little bit and caught on the shoe part and ripped off.

Wow. I've had the set on the savage I sold for over 2 years (4-5 gallons) worth of running. The guy I sold it too smacked it with something and cracked one of the disks though shortly after getting it from me.

Maybe get an RPM skid plate for the center to keep crap out of there.

How bout the adjustment at the throttle/brake servo maybe the brakes keep a little pressed while you driving and makes them wear down faster.
