Here's some pictures from todays' bashing session, with Smokedogg, h8z2luze, and myself. I only got shots of h8z2luze's savage in mid air (kind of hard to work a camera and aim at a jump at the same time, lol). Anyways, here are the pics...

Overall, a great time of a bash, with fairly little breakage. There were two sets of clutch bearings (ironically, both savages), a spur gear (mine), and this doosy:

Not bad considering the amount of air involved.

HaHa I had a AWESOME time! Thanks for the pics man! I think it broke when I landed the backflip then i jumped again and bent the CRAP out of it haha. OH WELL if you dont break anything your not bashing hard enough!

Amen! I'm amazed the MBX5 didn't come away with at least a tweaked suspension pin. It was pullin off to the right though. I'll have to run it on some concrete to see if it's alright. Worst case, might be a set of diff gears.

Who's place did you guys go bashing at, maybe next time I could come along looks like you guys had a hell of time!!!

We went to smoke dogg's house he is building and REALLY nice by the way. In Red Bluff. It was a blast. Finally got to see a baja 5B run it was SICK!

Ya you were bashing the poop out of that thing lol it was going farther than the savage.

That dirt pile didn't stand a chance, you guys were tearing it up! I haven't seen that much dust fly since Rolex took the glass lid off the Savvy.

Thanks for the pics, looks like a blast...........and SD, nice looking house .

Looks like a ton of fun. My only issue is that you guys seem to run rigs that are really tail heavy. I guess having the motor and tank at the back of the truck on a nitro makes it that way but I think you'd land a lot better if you weighted the front a bit. Then again you run steep ramps and rigs that have a ton of power. I only run a little WK with a lame motor.

I can handle the savage in the air very well actually the pics where i am straight up are backflips lol well a couple... the others I just hit the brakes and brought the front end down.

Yeah with a rig like that, you can control it in the air however you want by using the throttle and brakes. They respond in the air way better than the wheely king.

Ah-aight. I just weighted mine to fly flat so it lands on it's wheels. Didn't stop me screwing it up and cartwheeling a couple of times it though ;)

Yeh response in the air is a non-event with a truck like the WK because of the front-rear mounted motor. It puts all the torque twist in sideways, not front to back. Don'y get me wrong it's great fun, but I can see it getting out of hand if I beef the electrics up too much.

Still, all bashing is good fun and if you can stop your truck wrecking out too then it's gotta be a bonus :)

If you wanna make the trip up your welcome to come anytime. I'm only about hour and a half from sac. Soon as the house is done building a full size track for buggy/truggy and some monster trucks of course. You will definatly want to make the trip than.

The dirt pile was sitting there so I took the tractor and made a make shift jump that worked out pretty well. LOL

Thanks. It was a blast. I broke the rear dog bone on my X1-CRT the night before.

And judging from the amount of land, that's gonna be one sweet track. If you need any help building it, just say the word. I'm sure h8z2luze and I will be glad to pick up a shovel or two.

Thats for sure! I am not unfarmilliar with tractors either. I grew up on a ranch.... Any help at all, we would be glad to lend a hand!

Hey Rolex, these two are just for you....

I've yet to clean them.

Also, an update on the carnage; MBX is just fine for the most part (I think it was a rock stuck in the right-rear rim), altho I did manage to shred a bearing in the clutch.

I was talking with my dad and a friend tonight while we were tuning are cars in the lot behind gamestop. We might start the track this weekend.

On a side note. We got my friends LST that has been sitting for a couple years out and running tonight. Ran like a champ. We were racing around with the LST, Sportwerks Buggy, and my Slayer. It was fun. I had the slayer on 2 wheels for 14 parking spots and never put it on it's lid. LOL

Will keep you updated on the track. Maybe some kind of GTG this weekend or next.

Glad all is well. I cleaned mine today and got them all back up and running. Baja works great. Was a dead battery. I need a new charger, since I charged the pack the night before and it charged for over an hour today. LOL
