Saggy rear suspension and cleaning process of traxxas TRX4M

Hello,
I recently purchased a trx4m defender as a 1st high quality rc car, and as being a school student, I don't have much money to splash out on New parts etc. So firstly, the two right shocks on the car are sagging and it affects the ground clearance and 4wd'ing capabilities, is there any low cost or free fixes i can do to fix the sagging?
And Secondly, after driving my trx4m through water and mud, how should I clean the car, and should I worry about the water in the tires, like will they perish overtime or not?
And if anyone else has any experience with this car or a crawler similar, are there any things I can do to prolong the life of the car?

I don't have any of the itty-bitty RCs, so no help with the model you have, but there are others here who do and will be along to help, I'm sure.

If water gets in the tire into the foams, they can start molding. As for the shocks, take them apart and ckean, oil them with some silicone lube. Whole you have them apart, see if the springs are all the same length and tension. Maybe you got some grit in the shocks.

As for the electronics, water and mud csn short things out rather easily, evrn though they may be advertised as waterproff, they really arent. My advice, avoid water and myd. But if you must play in these conditions, you should fo your best to seal up the Receiver and servo. They will be the first to go. Followed by your bearings, driveshafts, etc.
