I hope you can get your RC repaired.

Now, let this be a lesson next time you go shopping for a hobby grade RC. Doing a little homework may save you from aggravation. Looking at online manuals before buying anything would be my suggestion. If you can't easily find a manual, or detail exploded view, with part numbers.... I'd pass on the RC vehicle.

Good luck, and welcome to the fold!:thumbs-up:

See i couldnt find this anywjere I'm glad you did honestly been looking since i broke it

I was thinking of just upgrading to metal parts but also worried about the weight bending the plastic central chassis section

You may be ok with an aluminum gear case upgrade.
I don't usually like aluminum upgrades. In this case, where the plastic snapped already, seems like a weak point, I might try it.

I have seen plenty of metal motor mounts fail. Are you having and issue with your gearing currently?
I am less sure of the motor mount upgrade.

Fortunately none of these parts are ultra expensive. You can do some experimenting and decide what works best for you.

No issues axcept re assembly as i broke it first thing i did was look for the part number both inside and out so the gear box is currently in peices

First time dissasembling something like this so I'm not sure how to put it back but that wont stop me haha
Definaitly need more lubricant for it tho the amount present was abysmal at best most of the gears had none on it it was super tacky

I think we all have a bit of worry when we turn the first screw on a new RC.
If you are unsure of the steps to reassemble, take lots of pics during disassembly to help remind you how things were set before you started.

I use exploded views to help remind me about hardware, shims... Very handy.

You might find adding (or removing) a shim will help with gear mesh and noise.

Setting up spur gear mesh is a bit of an art on its own. Too tight or too loose is problematic. Theres a happy zone.

I will recommend a silicone based lube over petroleum based. This is another widely debated subject.
There was a post just recently about it.

I have very good luck with 'SuperLube'. Its silicone based and nontoxic. Its very sticky so it doesn't fling off of gears but it does make it a bit messy to work with too.

  1. The side i need

The lack of a website doesn't look promising. No parts avail on scamazon?
Ebay would be my next shot.

I wouldn't go crazy trying to fix that buggy just due to its low replacement cost.

I would suggest upgrading!

Sometimes the designs are shared among manufacturers. My DeeRC200e is same as PX toys 9200, Holystone and a few others.

You could do some searching to find a matching chassis.
The pack of parts from amazon

Should be perfect everything looks like its right so wish my luck i wont know till mid may tho!

Its hard for me to say from a pic. Shims are machined flat and to specific measurements so they can be 'tuned' or adjusted with accuracy.
If that is a washer, it is prob not produced with any real degree of accuracy.
Either could be used in place of another with varied results.

I don't have access to Amazon. I would guess that if you search the ASN # on Amazon, it would produce the correct results for your part.

If you go to that link, is it possible to search for the opposite side from that page?

This seems like an amazon issue more than an availiblity issue?

Have contacted the seller and amazon to see if we can figure it out but if not ill just have to change parts and hope they fit

Even if i have to modify it some

Looks like the sixe i need isnt availible atm
So i have ordered it anyway so i can get a clear answer if it doesn't have what i need ill have to change parts

It seems like dealing with the seller for the moulded parts may be your only option.

You can buy shims or washers from a number of different sources. If you measure accurately, they are easy to find.
You can buy shims in asortments.
(3x6x.01, .02, .03...)

Hardware is generally not brand specific.
