i was thinking about making a 1/6 scale rc. i have a ryobi 31cc gas engine. what would i need to make it better? could i use a chassis from a name brand 1/6 car. i would want to make it 4wd i have a idea on how to do that. how would i be able to make my own chassis? i am thinking of using parts from other 1/6 cars to make a sprint which parts would you recommend.is there any type of plans that i could get maybe? that is all i can think of for now if you guy have any info please share

Its gonna take tons of work... You could fabricate your own tube chassis, like RC Jack... I dont think it would be worth the trouble... But hell, whatever flips ur switch.

would i have to have a jig or something? i am going to try for the first time so i need alot of info

My first question to you would be how much fabricating experience do you have and do you have the tools to machine your own parts, couple reasons i ask is if you dont have much of either one of those it's going to cost you just as much to get the machine work done and make a reliable car as it would be to just save your money and get yourself a nice 1/5th scale car or truck and know that your going to have a reliable car for years to come, just my two cents something to think about before you invest the time and money into such a project.Good Luck!
