Those 10 trun motors can hit an easy 100, but they require a flux capacitor and upgraded exhaust bearings to run that fast.

no a stock 10 trun trinity motor w/ 88 tooth spur 19 pinion and a duratrax 8 t esc?

Thats a good start but don't forget to buy the motor enhancement cream it will double the size of your motor!!!!

I did a lot of research on this, but not even my metric conversion charts could give me any info on how many ounces, pounds, grams volts or amps are in a trun. And this one is a 10 trun. I would guess that's a lot of truns, but I'm not sure if all those truns would help or hinder the performance. Other than that...........

Do your research after determining what your budget will bear. Do you have $300 to spend? Do you have $1000? Once you figure out what you can afford, go to your local hobby shop, since they will be your first support for parts and supplies. See what they carry, see what features you are looking for, and make a decision based on the knowledge you have accumulated.

Keep in mind, since you're new to this, you also need a radio, fuel, charger, and all the other peripherals involved in running R/C cars.
