rustler c/f shock tower

i bought a carbon fiber front shock tower for my rustler. And I was wondering if I need to use different screws or a nut and bolt setup. i took my front end all apart and realized that the stock screws didnt fit. Guess I shoulda checked before i tore it all apart first but what do I do now?

where did u buy the carbon fiber shock tower from? if u got it from RD racing they include all the hardware. yes u will have to use a nut and bolt set up.. a bolt going through the shock tower and body mount, then a flanged nut on the other side then a spacer, the shocks then another spacer, and another nut. nuts are 3mm dont no how long the bolt would be... 16mm maybe.

Go to towerhobbies.com and search for part #2518X (the part # for your shock tower). The tech notes on that page will have a part # for the screw set you need.
