rustler battery

i was just looking through to get a nice powerful battery for my rustler when i get the money. i think i found the right one. my rustys got a XL-5 ESC and 12T motor on it. i just wanted to run it by you guys first.

sounds like the right one but just wanted to make sure or if anyone else used this battery for the XL-5 ESC

I'd get rid of that connector. I melted a couple of them with a 7 cell. can't imagine an 8 cell.

Definitely go with Deans or the new Traxxas connectors.

Here is another 8 cell pack option.

Costs a little more, but the cells are matched which is a plus.

i had already ordered that one in the link i posted. it was good cuz they let you pick what connector you want and solder it on for you. if i have any trouble with it. i can always sell it. thats the wonderful thing about this hobby. somebody always needs something you got lol
