Holy moly with that shaft carnage!! I always upgrade my shafts to MIP or Junfac right off the getgo, Axials shafts are as weak as a kitten! I thino Axials hex hardware is softer than butter too... They need to step their quality up instead of releasing new models IMHO.

I agree, these newer versions are not like their original kit! I bought the RTR version knowing I would upgrade but this thing is all plastic, even the motor plate is plastic.....and all soft plastic that bends and twist if you look at it hard
 
After twisting the front shaft I figured I would try it out in 2wd, lasted less than a minute lol

Yea Randy that would have been a good idea, I'll do that to the next set. I'm also going to put the brushed setup back in it, brushless is cool but I'm not willing to dump a few hundred more into it for durability.
 
Precisely. The Splined Drive shafts are really heavy duty. It would take a lot more power than I can put through them to spaghittify them.
