rs4 3 hard to roll backwards

I just rebuilt my rs4 3 , gave it a serious cleaning, replaced a few
broken parts as well as a few missing parts... car looks great but
one thing disturbs me... It rolls freely forward, but I have to force it
to roll backwards ! I don't seem to remember it doing this before. Should
I be worried?

Either your brakes are too tight or possibly the gear mesh is too tight. Does it have a two-speed in it? If it does do you have the one way bearing in the two speed installed right?

Just checked the brakes, there good... Gear mesh is fine, ran a paper through... It does have a two speed with a one way bearing installed... But I actually didn't take it apart when cleaning... How strange...

Can you spin the spur gear freely without having to force it?

No I can't... That's probably were the resistance is coming from...
I'm going to take it apart again and check...

I'm a happy boy ! That was the problem. I had over tightened a screw. I just needed
to loosen 1/4 of a turn and now it rolls free forward and backwards... Thanks guys... Thanks Kwong...
