Does RPM make bulkheads for the maxx? Went bashing yesterday and the only stock part, the bulheads, broke on my truck. I'd rather not get aluminum bulks but if RPM doesn't make them then it will look like I have no choice.

Their braces are a good idea. I broke my left-front bulkhead in two at some point while back... thanks to the RPM brace the break went for at least two weeks before I noticed it. The break was near the front part of the bulk, and the brace did an excellent job of holding it in place.

I do have a set of aluminum bulks on order, though. I'd rather not make that repair more than once.

The material used for RPM parts would be way too soft to make bulkheads out of. They would flex too much. Your bulks need to be as stiff as possible.

If you want to upgrade your bulkheads, aluminum is the way to go.

RPM does not make bulkheads for the reason robmob mentioned. They know their material is not optimal for use in bulkheads and decided not to make any.

I called RPM about bulkheads about a year ago and they said they had not made any plans so make bulkheads for the t-maxx. I forget why it was but I'm almost certain it was not because their plastic is softer.

if ya do a search, i remember a thread about this and someone sent RPM a e-mail and they said why and all this other stuff. i will stick with RPm a-arms and aluminum bulkheads.

Go with great assebly's 7075 bulks or RC-Solutions Bulks. Both are of pristine quality and will last you a long time.

I cheaped out and bought integy's... they are all bent up now and the threads are stripped out on the front.

With GA's 7075 bulks, you won't have to worry about stripping since the aluminum is much harder.

Hard Core Racing makes some very nice bulkheads. Had them on my Maxx (past tense because I no longer own the Maxx), and they performed well with no damages noted after some not so gentle handling.
