I recently sealed a g3.0 hpi motor and took off the roto start, now I can't the little pin to stay connected to the piston arm so when I roto start I feel the pin kicking in n out of the piston arm. Does anyone know if a trx 3.3 can have a roto start? Thanks
Are you referring to the piston head wrist pin or the piston arm pin that holds the arm to the crankshaft? I'm trying to visualize what you're having a problem with.
As for the TRX 3.3, I believe you can, you just have to find the correct backplate to use on it. I believe Tiger may make one.
Its a tiny little pin that comes from the roto-starter and slips into the piston arm, so when u roto start the pin grabs onto the arm and turns it, right above the crank where the piston slides onto theres a tiny lil slot for the pin, better? lol thats all I have
I think i know what you are referring to. Mine will do the same thing if the crank shaft is turned in reverse. That pin will just slip on the crank, but i have no idea why it does that?
