Roll Cages

Are you still using plastic bumper mounts? If so theres your weak link, $4, If your using aluminum then a good hit would be transfered throughout the truck, and possibly do other damage.

I dont know if I'd ever want a rollcage that had "absorbant" qualites. But his are tig welded steel. They weigh just under 1 lb (but depends on your cage size too). I had had my Maxx land lid down, from 20 foot straight, and had NO breakage. The cool part was, nothing got loaded with mud or grass.

They bolt in beween your bumper and your bumper stand offs/mounts. Because the center stretch of the cage rides almost the complete length of the chassis, you get good impact results. The blow is spread accross a much greater surface.

To me the only down side is weight. But a nice mill takes care of that.

I'm running a .15 OS CVX Hyper in mine right now.

What is that big bulge on your fuel line, aside from the filter?

It was the primer. Worked very well. Just couldnt keep the darn thing from bringing in air.

Trucks totally different now. But I had those good shots with the cage so I posted em.

New one goes up tonight.

Maybe even now hehehe....

Thats one of Iowa T's. Like I said, this guy is "cool beans!"

I'm sure it has saved me Many dollars in repair. And it allows me to do the irresponsible things with my Maxx Mwahahahaha!
