Are there any roll cages for the rustler? I was wandering because its tedious to have to take the body off and put it back on over and over again just to push a button. Any help is welcome i just wanted to know if there was one....:jade: ...awesome smilie

I've looked everywhere, and I only found a roll cage for the nitro rustler. Do you know if it's compatible with the electric version?

There's no chance the nitro cage will fit the VXL chassis, but I have a hole in the windcreen and another in the back window thingy, above the ESC fan. I turn the speedie on and off with the body on.
BUT... If you do find a cage post it cause I would like one for high speed rolls anyway......

I've found a roll cage on ebay that fits the vxl rustler but the seller recently took it off auction (it was part of a aluminum parts package for the rustler) but i did find out that he got it from vgracing.com but on vgracing.com they dont have it listed in their e store but they claim that they have built if you read their new items section.

i have a hole in the top of the body so i can stick my finger down in there and two on the side to get some air flow to the ESC. see how that works out for ya.

Thanks for the idea but i would also like to be able to unplug the battery for safety reasons (i dont know what they are they just said to do so in the manual) and to be able to charge the battery without taking it out. Thats another reason why i want the cage.
