I'm not sure if this is the right forum or what, so if the mods need to move it, feel free.. Anyway, I was surfing threw the new Rc driver mag, and was reading about this gecko pro rock crawler and was curious about something... Why do they suggest to put BB's in your front tires? Is it only the fronts? And if so why? These rock crawlers are way cool, but totally new to me... ahh, to be a noobie again..

It ads weight to the front end for traction. Most crawlers are light as hell. You are only going a few inches at a time and never get going faster then a few MPH.

This is what I have read. I know my answer is "Mostly Right" at least in concept. I'm studing up on this as well.

They only put them in the front then?

Yep just the front. It helps keep the truck from lifting the front end and rolling over while climbing those extreme inclines.
