First build thread
Got this with a couple other RCs from a FMS rep
This build started as a mud truck but was inspired by easy rc on YouTube to build a wrecker so Roc Hound became
Roc Hound Wrecker
Got some aluminum axles off Amazon to move the steering servo to the axle and plan on quad steer
Upgraded to meus links
125mm front with titanium high clearance lower and stainless upper arms adding 4mm stretch
130mm rear with titanium high clearance lowers and stainless uppers adding 9mm stretch to the rear
Got my shipment early so it's time
Yellow safety lights
Steer axle to go quad steer
35k servos for front and rear steering
95mm dual rate shocks
Flysky fs-g7p transmitter
HW fusion se 1800
Dual motor winch for front bumper and boom
2.2mm wheels with 136mm tires
Wanted to go big and this should do it.
Got my shocks and rear steer axle installed and mounted the new 2.2 wheels with 136mm tires. Working on shock placement for best articulation and tire clearances. So far so good
On the final stretch
Waiting on oil for the shocks and need to finish getting everything wired and set up the electronics.
