I only ran in the 1/8 scale class. I got spanked by Rob all day!

Hahaha, nice. I love the sound of that.

Can't wait till my first time on a track.

Glad you boys had a good time!

Wow. How I ever ended up 2nd in that 1st heat is beyond me. Horrendous start and I could not make a clean turn to same my life.

In 2 weeks I am planning on running the brushless e-maxx and I just dug out my mini-t to charge the batts and am hoping to run it there as well.

Are you still running the ST-R Rob? I wonder if Ed can get Hobby Town to throw in a 1/8 scale buggy class for us.

If you come and bring your truggy or one of your buggies, I will bring the ST-R so we can go at it again.

We need to get Ed to bring his Xray and get in on the 1/8th scale action. Aside from those mini's, I think it was the best racing to watch.

Had a great time.
NEVER LET ME DRIVE YOUR RC!!! NEVER!!!!
I felt so bad, Kind of like lighting someone on fire.

The 8th race was the one to watch. The track is small and was more technical then usual making it a tuff drive for the big ones.

Doms Truggy is nice. The photos dont do anything for it. Well built and thought out. Just like any large project there are still a few bugs to work out but not many. It took a while to get it dialed in to turn properly on the small track but he adapted well and overcame.

Robs STR runs great on 3 wheels. So many turns on the track and his speed kept one front wheel in the air 80% of the time. Dom and Rob played Cat and Mouse all day long. It was always within a 1/4 of a track at all times, Well most of the time. Dom likes to stop and take a nap somewhere around the 3 minute mark every heat. This racing stuff wears him out.

I ran my stock E-Zilla and couldn't steer it. I trashed a hub and replaced it. The one I got was slightly malformed and was binding terribly. To do any kind of low speed turn I had to jack the brakes and slide the ass end around. It took a while for me to figure this out. The Main was a shoot out for rob and I. It was a photo finnish earning us both a 2nd place ribbon. Someone won by 1/100th. I know who but will never tell.

On road went good for me. Last race I had a terrible time getting dialed in. It was much better this week and it felt good. I smoked a motor in the 2nd heat. It was literally smoking when I finished. I toasted a rear bearing in the can and it heated up enough to melt the solder on the tabs after the race. All along I thought my battery was dumping. I finished the main 3rd running a stock motor in the modified class. The best driver there took himself out close to the end. This placed me. I didn't deserve it but thats racing.

I'm going to run the Mini-T next race as well. Like rob, I just drug it off the shelf to see what I need to do to get it going.

What a great time I had. I usually go to this race every two weeks and having others from the forum there was icing on the cake. I look forward to them coming to the last race in 2 weeks.

I should have thanked that kid for putting me back on the track facing the wrong direction. It really made the the ending of the MT main exciting for Ed and I. I bet the spectators liked it too.

Why me? My mini-t works flawlessly in a straight line. Too bad the steering servo is not functioning for me to turn. I have no idea what is wrong with it. It worked fine the last time I ran it last year.

Did that a few times. I can hear that it is getting a signal, but it will not move.

Maybe your diffs are in back wards?:surrender

I also can't move the servo at all by turning the wheels by hand. The servo saver spring engages before the servo will turn. A gear must be broke and jammed inside.

Easy now. The diffs were in correctly for a t-maxx. Why traxxas flips the diffs for an e-maxx is a mystery.

I am not even going to mess with the stock set-up. It's time to upgrade the mini-t with a new esc and steering servo. I never did like that bulky stock mini-t setup.

LMAO!!

Rob,I had the ame lame thing happen to me. the culprit for me was the Stock ESC. I have since got TJ's ESC. Unfortunately... I have taken it apart and have yet to re-assemble it.

Is the last race of the season still on for this Saturday? What is everyone running?

I'm running Mod sedan as usual, Mini-T, and I may do Monster truck as well. Its the last race so I might as well fill the dance card up.

It takes 2 or more for a class so 1/8th is up to you guys.

If Rob decides not to run his ST-R, will they allow me to run my truggy with the MTs? All my cars are 1/8 scale buggies and truggy.
