Hello, I got a 1/8 or a 1/7 chassis. I don't know. So it's very old and also I think it's robbe chassism like robbe dynamic one. So my project is to build hybrid rc from this old car but there is a problem and I cannot find solution. And for this reason I need a help

In the photos I provided wheel photo and you can see that this wheel got no hex. It only uses hex pin to spin that tyre. And on the market I cannot find any wheel that matches this old tyre. Hex pin is 3x15mm if I measured correctly and on market I only can find tyre with like 2x15mm hex pin but with hex too. So my chassis doesn't support hex.

So right now this is a big problem. So if you someone know best place to buy old parts. Like used ones or if there is a adapter for this style rc. Because with old tyres nothing is possible.

Sorry for bad English 😅

I wanted to make this car all by myself but for many problems I prefer some help. So you can ask and I can give more info about size and more if you need. Thanks for attention 🔥

I think the Traxxas Bandit uses those type wheels, may look at Amazon for Bandit wheels/tires.

I think they run a 2mm diameter pin, but it shouldn't be too difficult to use an Xacto knife, and scrape away 0.5 mm of plastic on each side of the groove.

Those look kinda like Vintage Kyosho Optima pin-type wheels, but they're not. The newer re-release Kyosho's have a hex adapter. You  may be able to use them to convert to a standard hex wheel.

Or maybe a 12mm hex will fit on your pins in the axles and you can buy standard 12mm hex wheels. Hard to say without having parts in hand.

But if not, you can still buy pin-type wheels. Just add "pins" to your wheel search.

Looks to be a 1/7 Robbe Dynamic 2wd from the late 1980's. Best of luck to ya trying to find parts. The wheels should be able to be converted to something more modern but the center diff and mount for example will likely be extremely difficult to find unless you can find another car to use as doner parts.

Looks like a fun project. Usually RC have a hex nut with the pin. You might able to still use a standard wheel.
Yea but problem is that there isn't any matching hex
