Got a schumacher riot 2 for myself for xmas as I'm such a good little boy:D. Took it out of the box today for a good old look around. for such a low price I'm shocked at the build quality of this product.....

i know you've all seen them before but i'll take a few pics later and throw them up...

as a quickie anyone got some links to 1/8th wheel tyre sets?

Many thanks as always

I'm happy with it, the controller is an exceptional piece of kit too, I'm awaiting a fail safe at the mo and as soon as that comes i'll start breaking her engine in. here are the pics...

Very nice, Shumacher's haul ass. You have more self restraint than I do. I would already have burnt the factory tires off.
I take it you are in the U.K? If so I can't help you with tires. Import taxes are a bastard.
You can browse these sites for ideas.

Never forget good old E-Bay!
Wait I forgot, VP Pro started over the pond. You may can find them without paying a small fortune. I use their tires/wheels and clutches for racing. Top quality, but they are just plastic dish wheels, nothing shiny or fancy. Very well balanced wheels and tires, you will need balanced wheels/tires with that truck. Very durable, the wheels have a lot flex and do not warp or break. May not be what you are after but the other sites will have more options for 17mm hex wheels and tires.
Only site I know for them is www.vp-pro-usa.com

cheers for the advice scrogg!!! much appreciated!!! so i ran it on the beach (sand dunes) nice soft easy landings but she has so much torque I'm shocked she can get up the hils will little or no run up!! (i know not good for the clutch) so i let what ever sand on her dry and blasted it all off with a air compressor which i have at home.....got everything off....my only worry is...Is it safe to use her on sand? the rear diff is totally sealed so that should be ok...?

thanks for the links to tyres...go old ebay (us) is throwing up some great deals!!

Yes they are. ProLine is making new wheels, tires and foams these days. So all the old versions are going cheap! Of course it is cool to run it in the sand. Just remember wheelspin increases in the sand. you'll need to fatten up the HSN if you do a lot of sand running. Sand is not going to hurt the clutch at all, nor will the hillclimbing. I'd stock up on spur gears though, that one looks pretty vulnerable where it is mounted.
Make a set of mud guards to help keep stuff out.
