I have never been a fan of this type of pipe, I would go for more proven one like the Trinity (LOUD but good power) or even the Traxxas resonator pipe. I have no personal experience with this pipe, but make sure you get some reviews of it first from people who own it before buying it.

Nice pipe dude! you'll just have to find out, we dont know what your tune is. You will know once you get it on.
Jeff

I would advise against that pipe. The main problem is you won't get proper backpressure. Go with a trinity pipe or a resonator from traxxas.

cool tanks i just got an offer for another anyway so this one is off my list for good ,

why would you do that, you can read he has ouready purchased it, not everyone has to downgrade people on their purchases!

If you would have read his post you would have read this....

now would this be a good pipe

sorry bub, wasn't slamming his purchase. Just giving him the advice he asked for.

i didnt buy anything yet , you people need to learn how to read before replying ,thanks VBGAGNON for the back up

I don't know if it's putting the person down or letting the person know what he's in for if they have it.

Personally, whether I just bought something or was thinking of buying something, if I asked for an opinion, I'd expect just that, an opinion. Most people that have some decent tuning skills always disuade people from those kinds of pipes. They are built for show, not performance. From what I've read, the people that have had them, the pipe causes an erratic tune that can't be found, power is degraded and temps are all over the place, but generally hot.

If I had just bought the pipe and someone told me all of that, there wouldn't be much I could do, since I bought it. But, if I hadn't used it yet, it would be enough for me to return it and get my $ back. If it's used, you won't be getting your money back as easily.

EDIT: guess I don't type fast enough...

ya so I'm probably going to go with the trinity pipe or resonator, with all the bad feedback on this one, its enough to not get me to buy it , ,

Plus one for this line of thinking....I really WANT to hear what others experiences are.

I have one of these pipes (dually) and if I had come her first I could have saved my self some $$$$$.

Anybody want a dually....its cool??........cheap.....;)
