ok i have a qustion does the 1/16th scale e-revo come with everything including a bettery and charger if so I'm getting that one same with the summit?

The Summit does not come with batteries or a charger. You MIGHT be able to put together a Summit for $600 RTR if you shop right.

Okay you got me. That pack you said to get for the slash is still alive and well

Well, that was 2 weeks ago. Maybe the guy got paid. I don't know what the situation was/is between you too but I can only speculate upon info that is handed to me. It should not be surprising that somebody doesn't have money one day but has plenty 2 weeks later.

As for which rig... you are all over the place man. Nitro, Electric, 1/10 scale, 1/16 scale. The only thing that seems to be certain is your budget. You really need to narrow this down. Otherwise, folks are just going to suggest the rigs THEY like rather than the rigs that might be right for you.

First things first...

  1. Nitro or Electric? I'm not going to start a debate because there are numerous threds on it. You need to decide what you want.
  2. Scale? How much space do you have to run. Smaller is cheaper, do you need to sacrifice size to get everything you want within your budget?
If you can at least let us know where you sway and WHY when it comes to those two questions then and only then will you get any real help.

Smaller is not always cheaper, because i found an 1/8th scale that i bought and its half the price of the 1/10th scale Revos. :p:

i was headded that way but then i do want a nother nitro so something nitro would be good under 600 dollars and no my parents are buying it for me for an after school present so i would like to know within 33 days so B4 the summer break i do kinda like the 1/16 scale revo tho i can't decide

and 1 acer of land and a trail behond my house with a lot of rocks i REALLLLLLLYYYY like the Revo but can't decide i need help

Go check out NitroRCX.com
I got the Mad Warrior for about $240. Its mad fast and bad to the bone.

Quality for Quality smaller IS less expensive.

There's no doubt that one can purchase an off-brand 1:8 scale for less than a mainstream 1:10 scale rig. You get what you pay for. Whether it be quality, durability, ease of use, parts availability or whatever. Just because one may spend less now doesn't necessarily mean one won't spend more later.

A General rule of thumb i tend to follow is this:

spending out less out on a lesser quality rig means more spending on replacing parts or upgrading them so they don't break again or break as easily.

Spending more on a higher quality rig means less spent out on repairs or upgrades due to breakages.
