So I've made a list of all the things I'm going to buy for this Revo in a couple weeks, but I'm still looking for a motor. I'm leaning towards another Dynamite .19, but I was wondering if anyone knew of any other replacement motors that might drop into a Revo with little or no modding.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks!

OS .21tm with revo manifold will drop in.. More money tho.
You could get one of the picco .26 max engines with its mount for a little less than the OS.21 tm

The OS .21 TM with the Revo manifold is a direct drop in. The Picco .26 Maxx needs a big block mount.

I'm currently running a .26maxx and i absolutely love it, I am still breaking it in but it is truly awesome.

The dynamite .19 won't fit in a revo...I tried that. The motor mount on the revo interferes with the crank case.

.19 will fit but you have to do some grinding on bottom of crank case where tabs hit mount. I put one in my revo before i sold it.

If you go too high, you start melting clutches. I have a hard time going past 16/40 without having excess clutch slip. I used to run 15/40, but the BB I run has so much torque that it would overpower the clutch and it would slip really bad, then heat up and meltdown. I installed 1/8th scale alloy clutch/bell and now it works well with 16/40. Still a wheelie freak, but for where I drive, more speed is useless.

I'm running fifteen fourty Robinson racing steel gears at the moment. Going to go fifteen thirty six or eight. You will need a better clutch for sure. I've been burning em real quick! Researching best clutch at the moment
