Is it ok to use a Powertune Revo head on a Rustler with a TRX2.5? It can't hurt right? Also, how do you take the old head off? This is my first nitro and I'm a newbie.

If the rustler has the new 2.5 or 2.5r engine it will work as a direct replacement.
To take it off, there are 4 or 5 little hex head bolts that you can see if you look straight down from the top of the head, all the down to where the glow plug is. Just remove those and reuse them to install the new head. Do not over tighten and also do not lose the head shim that you will see when you take off the old head.

Revo is right direct replacement if its a 2.5 or 2.5r There are 5 screws that you'll have to take off to get the head off.
Make sure that you have a head shim when you put the new head on though. The shim has a tendency to stick to the base of the head when you take it off.

they may carry it depending on there inventory size if not just be very careful and remove the 1's off yours and put them over on the revo head

They might, but all I was saying is that when you take off the old head, take the shim off the old head and put it on the new head. You shouldn't need "more" shims.
