Had my 3.3 out running today and it died at WOT and will not restart. I checked the temp on it as soon as it died and it was around 250 and still had 3/4 tank of fuel. The carb was loose in the neck so I pulled it out and check for any debris and re tightened it but it still will not start. I also pulled the tank and fuel line off and put it under water to check for leaks and had a very small leak out of the tank lid o-ring but I dont think it would be enough to keep the truck from running.

I reset all needles to factory and the truck keeps firing but will not run more than 1/2 second or so. I tried leaning the HSN and even richening the HSN from factory settings with no luck.

I dont know what would cause the truck to just instantly die at WOT it didnt bog or lose power or anything just wide open and then instantly off. I do notice now that there are some air bubbles in the fuel line that will not move no matter how much I crank the engine almost like it isnt pulling any fuel.

Sure the crank didn't break? Try a new glow plug?

I pulled the engine and everything looked to be ok ... I also pulled out the glowplug and the piston is moving up and down but that is as far as I went into the engine.

I dont have a new glowplug to try right now but I didnt think a glow plug could cause it to die at WOT like that.

When I try to start it it will kind of fire off for maybe 1/2 to 1 second but never actually gets going just makes you think its going to :)

I know this doesn't show much but I snapped a quick video of me cranking it for a few seconds .... you can hear it tries to start for a second but never gets going.

The only thing that I have noticed is that the pull start seems to get stuck about every 2nd or 3rd pull. I dont know if the pull start is just going bad or if my arm is just tired from pulling it for hours on end and cussing all day.

New carb o-ring, fuel line, fuel tank o ring, and a glow plug and it fired first pull.

Atleast now I know what it looks like when it gets an air leak :)
