ok i was breakin in my revo 3.3 on the third tank about half way through it dies and now i can't get it to start back up, it will start but only runs for a second or two. also it's making a clicking noise from near the spur gear but only when it rolls in the opposite direction the tranny is set in. anyone help? :\

Try replacing the glow plug. If the clicking sound wasn't there from the beginning, something is wrong. Look over the spur for damaged teeth and check all the nuts and bolts on the whole truck for tightness. The Revo guys may have a more definitive answer for the clicking problem. A good upgrade for the ez start system is a separate glow ignitor. It heats the plug better and saves the wand's battery power.

someone on the revo on the traxxas site set me in the direction of the clutch spring. not sure if thats it or not yet.

A broken clutch spring will show itself by the tires rotating when you try to start the engine. Or the engine stalling when coming to a stop.

Part of the break in process includes leaning the needles from the rich factory setting. Right now it's probably to rich to start. Lean both needles 1/8 of a turn. You might also have to lower your idle.

talked to traxxas today, it was the clutch and their customer service was awesome they're sending me a free clutch =)

Yeah they do have awesome cutomer service. My buddy had his starter wand go bad on him. They sent him a new one with 4 extra glow plugs! Kudos to traxxas!
