Why is this motor blowing oil all over the rear shocks, out the tail pipe and all over the heatsink? This is not normal I am assuming. The inside of my chassis is a mess after 1 day of running. Does this motor need a rebuild? I am new to nitro rc's and jut got this revo used, its fast, but seems to overheat and not want to start untill cool, its tuned right, not too lean. I know about the tuning and such. Help please.

Can you figure out where the oil is coming from? Is it coming from the glow plug? The cooling head where it meets the sleeve? The header seal? Somewhere else?

Usually, if you have that much oil all over, it's causing a pressure leak which can effect tune and drive temps up. If you can't tell where it's coming from, clean it really well, then run it a few tanks, then inspect it.

I figured it out a few days ago, it as a bad header seal. Fixed the problem.
