After running most of the day yesterday (untill my left front tire/wheel fell off and threw the hub and pin). I have decided to ditch the reverse.

I never really cared about the chattering and such, and I always thought it was nice to actually have reverse.

Then, after I was forced to put away the maxx, I busted out my Savage SS to get it broke-in. I noticed how much smoother it seemed to take off. I liked it much more.

Got to be the reverse and the internal cluctch in the tranny for it. I will now be converting the Maxx tranny to foward only courtesy of Robinson Racing.

Never actually used reverse anyway. At least not on purpose.

yes, i noticed i huge difference when i put the FOC in my t-maxx. i mean come on, how many times do u actually use reverse, if ur gona run into something ur gona flip it over. they should make somethin that flips the maxx back over on its wheels.

I was just like you, I thought it was nice to have reverse. When I finally did the FOC, it was awesome, much better throttle response, no more clicking and jerking. I only wished I had done it sooner. It's a great hop up for a maxx.

My sentiments exactly. I didn't mind reverse with the Trx 2.5 but couldn't stand it with the Sirio .18.

Yeah, lose that reverse. I purchased the Maxx b/c it had reverse, but I rarely used it. So I stripped it out. Once you get into the transmission. You will be suprised at how much you take out when you remove the reverse gears. Make sure you take out the servo & linkages too.

You will see an improvement in your performance.
