After an awesome bashing session I busted my rear hub on my trophy. I am waiting on the part to come to replace it but want to know about getting out the pin that keeps the hex adapter in place. Do i use a hammer and punch to get it out or is there a tool to remove these little pins. This is the pins I'm on about http://www.wheelspinmodels.co.uk/i/116815/

Advice much appreciated

they either screw in, or there is an set screw inside the center of the hex that when loosened will let the pin come out.

Ninja edit:

something like this

or the pin itself has a threaded end like this.
