Referrals

Is there any benefits to getting x amount of referrals?

In the for sale forum there is an advantage...

I'm only guessing here, but they are much like feedback numbers on eBay, basically, how much you trust other members opinions on how their selling/shipping/trading skills rank.

KMN and SilentHunterKellen - The referral here at RCNT work differently then what eBay uses them for. Actually eBay uses "Feedback".

To answer the question, the referral's here just show people how many other people you have told about this site and they have then signed up as a member here. As of this time there is no outstanding reward for having the most referrals, other then saying you have referred the most people here. This is not to say we may not ever use this for a contest or some other give away. (BTW: we're working on a new contest/give away now!)

I dunno...i wouldn't have an award thing cuz then some people might start spamming
