What is a good begginer car? Hi everyone, I'm new to the rc scene & my first buy was a Redcat Shockwave, I saw pretty good reviews online for it, but I've had a few parts break already, ( left rear hub carrier, servo saver ) I had to wait a little for the servo saver (aluminum ) I'm currently waiting for the hub carrier ( plastic ), I picked up two already since I can see that it breaks easy. Also picked up front hub carriers & c hubs. I would really like to know what other parts I should have in hand so I don't have to wait so long in between it being functional. Please let me know, thanks,
Thiago, NYC

If you get an advice here before you buy that car, may be you can hear some advice not to take that car rather than get a better brand, a little bit expensive but in the long run it saves a lot of money and time fixing that car. Sorry, for my comment. Better to sell that one and get a better brand likes team associated, losi, hpi and even kyosho.

I also would invest into something a little better :) From my past experience HPI or Duratrax are a better investment. Traxxas is always a good buy. I have been not hearing good things about Redcat and cannot say anything good or bad about them since I have never owned one. But from my experience Duratrax is one of the best for begineers.

My experience with HPI is I had to perform a lot of work on the suspension before I could run one. I had to perform toe settings and adjust the suspension to equal to each side. then had to perform a little Chamber settings.

Traxxas and Team AE RTRs I could almost run them right out of the box with a few tuning to the radio systems. The suspension almost is already setup to go in a straight line with very little tweaking.
