Redcat Racing Danchee Ridgerock?

My best friend lives in Nebraska, is retired and spends a lot of time with his grandson that's under 2. In the next couple years he's planning to move here to New Mexico close to me. He's never been a rc guy and I want to get him something that he and his grandson can play with and maybe give him the bug. Would the Redcat Racing Danchee Ridgerock be a good choice? It has great reviews and seems like a good starter rig for the price.
What say you and if you have one, what's your experience?

That looks like a pretty solid rig. 4ws is a game changer. For that price I don't think you could go wrong. That being said...I have zero experience with RedCat products.

It's an incredible crawler with a simple tire swap. Pretty limited on upgrades. But definitely a great first rig
