REDCAT MONTE CARLO

Just purchased a redcat monte carlo and it seems to have some issues other then the actual steering servo being complete trash lol. I have watch some YouTube videos on end points if you have a great set up I'd like to try it out. But I was wondering if it's normal for the steering control to activate the forward and reverse at 3/4 use? If that makes sense. In other words say I'm turning right no throttle the car drives forward turning left taking me backwards

Welcome in @gonecrawlin , have you tried re-calibrating?

Its either a re-calibration issue or the ESC is plugged in to channel 1.

Does the car turn left and right with the throttle/brake lever? If so, take the plug out of channel 1 of the receiver and swap places with the channel 2 plug.

If not then re-calibrate as TP suggested.
