Red Cat 1/18th International Scout II ~ First Thoughts

It's my first Red Cat truck of any kind, price point was good, truck looked slick, I had to pick it up. I finally got to run it in my little backyard course, I was pleasantly surprised. While it is super light and feels like a toy, the motor crawled nicely, and it was decently balanced. The only place on my course it really struggled was the real steep down-climbs, outside of that, did great. Now I want to upgrade it to see what it can REALLY do!

I have been impressed with my 1/18 redcats. Add a little weight up front and they get even better. I haven't had a chance to give the Scout II a workout yet but with more body don't think it will perform as well as the Ascent18 pickup. Still it's a solid platform.
