all my servos are twitching i have a Dirt demon w/ stock rx tx and servos .It only happens when i run my truck .ill be cruzin along and then all of a sudden they will start twitching and then ill gain control again for a moment and then bam!!! there they go again .I have gone though eveything and i can't think of whats happening. it has charged rx batt"s fresh tx batt's the fail safe is working good and i even checked the switch.any ideas would be a great help.it doesn't to it when I'm sitting on the bench working on it . only when I'm running it.

The first two things that spring to mind are:
1. External interference. Are you playing near high power lines, an airfield, another radio source? There are a number of electromagnetic inteference (EMI)sources all over the place. Could be anything from a garage door opener to a CB radio.
2. Glitching caused by metal to metal contact. Under high vibrations a loose metal-to-metal contact creates an EMI field that can cause your servos to glitch in the fashion that you mentioned. I would look for loose screws. Make certain to use some loctite on any screw that is connecting a metal part to another metal part. Another source of glitching is loose connections. Make certain that all servos are properly connected and snug with the receiver. Also, make certain that the power cable to the receiver is nice and snug.

Let us know what you find.

I decided just to upgrade from the AM to a FM system, and went out and bought a FM synthesized radio package .switch, 2 servos, receiver and radio .And as i was installing the new system .I noticed that the FWD-REV linkage was hitting the upper chassis just enough to make the servos glitch .Its ok i was planning to upgrade anyway just didnt think it wouldnt be so soon.

Oh yah ,the radio i bought is jrxs3 the sticker price was $230,but he gave it to me for $160 ,.Is that a good deal.?

dmckie, glad you found the cause of the glitching. Also glad you moved up to a synth system. They are really nice. As for the deal, sounds like a great deal to me. You now have an extra two servos...make certain to keep the old ones as spare parts in case the new ones break. It is always nice to have a ready replacement in the field.
