I have an electric TT01, it's my drifter. So basically, this is what's happening. If I throttle without the steering engaged, the motor and ESC work fine. If I throttle with the steering engaged, hello problem. It tends to not accelerate and glitch a bit. I didn't have this problem before I installed my new servo.

Specs:

ESC/Motor - CC Sidewinder 5700kv
Receiver - Novak XXL 75MHz, FM Sanwa
Servo - Airtronics 94358 (Metal Geared)
Battery Pack - Team Orion 4500 MaH NiMH

Please help me. Thanks!

It sounds like you need to install a Castle Creations 10 amp external BEC to me. They're only like $25, and you can program them with your castle link programmer. Also, it will put 6 volts to your servo. Right now, your servo is only getting 5.1 volts.

Could it also be because of the servo upgrade? When I had a different servo on, it never glitched like that on me.

Yeah that's why I think you need a BEC. When you run a high power performance servo, it takes more power than a weaker servo. The external BEC will allow the servo to get all the power that it needs, and should eliminate the glitching. We run servos north of 300 oz/in on our crawlers, and if we don't run an external BEC, we have the same problem. Slowngreen had a problem identical to yours, so he can help you if you have any questions. We have the one that you need in stock at East End Machining, and it's actually listed cheaper than the ones I bought from one of the huge mail order stores.
