Does anyone know of a large (1800 mah or larger) receiver pack for the Savage with little or no installation modifications? It seems that the standard is 1000-1200mah which are everywhere but I want something larger...

Also what is the difference between (6) 2/3 and (6) AA battery packs? Thanks

no matter what.. in my lil rule book of r/c racing.. always use NIMH batterys. They dont need to be cycled if you want to charge them again like "NiCads" do. and they last a hellova longer time. later

I use the same LenMar batteries the EP uses but I get them from this guy off ebay....I picked up 8 AA 2000mah Nimh and an 8 battery charger (Nimh or NiCd) for under 30 bucks. He also sells 4 packs of those same batteries for 5.75. I run alot. I have my own track in my yard and we run about 6 hours a weekend and I generally get 2 weekends w/o recharging.

Heres a link. check out his other items and don't fret to email this guy. He usually has 100's of auctions on batteries and chargers.

Man, $12 for a set of (4) 2300 mAh nimh's is AWESOME. That's a killer price....I think I'm getting ready to order 3 sets of them....
