Well I have news for you, it was running at between 170-200 degrees so it was PLENTY hot.
And last time I tried to just drive it around I blew the engine. It was definitely my fault...but IF I do it again, then it WILL happen again.
I've broken in every engine this way. This's the way I know it, this's the way I do it. And I have yet to have an engine that doesn't run right by idling the tanks.
Look at my novarossi, it's one of the most high performance engines you can get, and I idled 5 tanks on that...guess what? It still runs today, and i'm almost to a gallon or so through it.
