I'm new to the rc world, and i got a few newbie questions.....

so it didnt take very long to notice that oil from the exhaust gets all over everything. i have seen a few different rear exhaust kits out there.

i have a tmaxx 2.5 and i mostly use it for just beating around out back and some little jumps. id like as much low end as possible if that makes difference.

what is a good/inexpensive rear exit exhaust system?

also

i got my truck VERY used in a trade. it doesn't idle all that well and if i hit the breaks to get it to stop it dies.
is it supposed to idle when stoped? how do i fix it?

thanks in advance

sounds like you need to kick the idle up, the idle screw is on the carb turn it clockwise about 1/4 of a turn see if it makes a difference if you dont see where it is traxxas.com will have a picture of it

Is it a 3.3, 2.5 or old 15 maxx?

If your looking for more low end, a cheap option is to get a lower tooth count clutch bell.

Rear exhaust will cause you headaches if you ever jump and land on the rear end at all. The exhaust will get smashed.

the motor is a picco .21 ..... not sure how its supposed to perform, but it seems to haul @ss pretty good, but i dont have anything to compare it to since this is my first truck and i dont know anyone else with one

what is a good tooth count for the clutch bell.... I'm looking for good low end acceleration but still a decent top speed
