hey ...just wondering if many of you revo owners brake bulkheads often ...broke the rear one mine the other day ( after about 30 small jumps ) :p ..well ok ...the jumps were not very high ..but it was flying at least 20 to 30 ft ..lol

the truck landed on its butt and i heard a ''snap''...it broke where the 2 skid plate screws near the engine mount ..and my chassis was bent up at least 1 inch

i was able to bend it back to place , and J.B welded the bulkhead wit fiberglass mesh tape , also drilled holes on each side of the brake and tied it with wire ..seems to be holding strong

is this a common thing ???

Yeah, I've broken a few bulk heads, one was hitting a parking block head on at 40 MPH (I was trying to split between them and failed) and another was jumping across a road and high centering the chassis on a curb. Go on ebay, bulk heads get sold every week for 15 bucks a pair. Bent chassis? That will cause headaches for alignment and gear mesh in the future, I've seen new chassis sell on ebay for 20.00. A Revo is not bullet proof... :)

i already got new bulkheads on ebay ..but that one seem to be holding just fine ..will swap it when it brakes again ;)...and only the rear part of the chassis bent ...it did not affect the engine mount ..it looked a bit like the front end ..the lip curved upwards a bit ..lol
