....I'd rather buy a kit from a reputable company that knows what they are doing than from someone who's cobbled something together...

:chillpill

Yes, if you define major corporations as some guy who doesn't kno what they are doing....This kit is beeing manufactured by Nitrous Express (NX) NX is a major leader of nitrous kits for 1:1 cars, in fact, they were the exclusive nitrous kits used in 2Fast2Furious....

I'm not tryin to start a flame war, I'm jus sayin that NX is a good company, and they may have figured out an actual decent nitrous set-up for nitro. I know RCDriver is gonna do a review on the product, so let's see, but the review won't be totaly correct cause these rc mags don't do long-term tests. RCCA did give the whole long-term test thing a try a few years ago, but I guess it wasn't a success  Although, I, personally, would LOVE to see some rc mag do long-term tests.

I donno if it's been said yet or not, but the RC nitrous system thus far as all "dry" systems. When you give the nos, there is no extra fuel going into the carb. In order to make more horse power, you not only need more o2 (nitrous), but you also need more fuel to utilize that extra oxygen.

Nitrous is cool, but if you want more power, just get a bigger engine.

My friend made a type of a turbo/supercharger. It isn't technically because it doesn't run off exhaust, nor is it off the crank. It was just an old keyboard vacum that just blew air into the carb with a little fan powered by an electric motor. The engine wouldn't idle at all, but it did gain some RPMs. It was only a little bit more powerful but it was a PITA because the engine wouldn't idle at all so he didn't use it much. BTW, it was on a .15FE lol.
