I fixed the steering that I broke the last time out. Installed a few goodies. Painted a new lid. And the buggy is ready for another go at the track.
I just hope the weather cooperates.

Looks good! Here's a newbie question for you. What are the zip ties on the head for?

So when you flip it you dont destroy the top of the head. Which is very easy to do on buggies. So the zip ties are well worth it.

TexSavage - Nice looking ride! Post some closeup pics without the lid. And what are you using to cut the holes? Dremel? Lexan Scissors?

i can't ever keep the zip ties on my head longer than one rubber side up landing....always get riped off, oh well i guess thats better than ripping half a heat sink fin off lol

Thanks y'all. Sorry I didn't get back sooner. I was really busy. Racing got cancelled this weekend , so I ended up fixing and painting the house trim instead. :depress:

lillightingboy21 - The tires are TRC bulldogs. I got them here . I got the premounts because I hate gluing tires. :lick:

Allright Çh®i§tiªñ, here are a few more pics.

I decided to save my RB C5. So, I re-installed the OS VZB.

FlyinRazorback talked about the RE shocktowers in one of his posts. I got some after reading his report. :thumbup:

The Ackerman plate on the MBX-5 seems to be a weakspot. So I installed the Mugen hopup part.

Besides that everything else is pretty much stock.

Hey slothy you ever think he just painted that body and took the picture before he used it? I have seen plenty of people take pictures of their new body without even body mount holes so the paint job looked untouched. Stop worrying about pointing out flaws with everybody and worry about your own. You don't even have pictures in your gallery so why do you need to make snide comments about other people's? :thumbup:
