Great pics SD, but I dont think that's a Bruiser, it looks like the new F-150 3 speed from Tamiya. Very similar to the Bruiser, but imo even more scale realism than the Bruiser.

Thanks for correct identification NC, the F-150 on the body should have given me a clue. duh! Damn I knew I should have taken more pics of it.

Yeah, I was gonna ask you if you had any more pics of it. I saw it breifly on Tamyas site, and it looked awesome, but it was pulled almost as quickly as it appeared.

Well its going to take me sometime to upload the pics to Photbucket but I may just have the album for all to peruse. Awesome show. THe 1/8 scale race brought out a lot of top drivers like Chad Bradley, Jared Tebo, Marty Korn, Adam Drake, Jeremy Kortsz and Mark Pavidis. Those drivers are pros for a reason. THey have mad skillz on the track.

I think the best part was hooking up and meeting Dom and Dan. Awesome guys. I wish it could have been an entire weekend deal but there is always next year. I will post up pics asap. Got to take care of a few things at home.

Pics up soon.

Did any of you get a look at the new odonnell buggy? That thing has been top secret since tebo first got it!

No sneak peeks of the Odonnell buggy. I have some video of the pro buggy race but rcpics has been down.

On a different note, my daughter LOVES the new truggy Dad bought her at the show. :)

Dom that thing is sweet looking. The Revo looks great with the boys. Just need to run her in. I saw no area for the buggy but I did see Steeve Odonnell there and they had a buggy in their hands. They were walking fast. No one rand the Baja while we were there They just showcased it. We got some great pics of the Baja. THat thing is a f'ing BEAST!. Real nice.

My USB port is not working and doesn't detect my card reader so I will try on different PC tomorrow. I have a few shorts on the 1/8 th scales running and a nice Crawler vid. Awesome stuff. I personally have not done the conversion from high 8 to digital format. If anyone wants to try it out I will send a copy to you. PM me if interested.

Again, Pics coming!!!

That rig is off the hook. New layout of the radio tray. PIMP I tell ya. The prototype was ugly but this one was rocking TiNi hinge pins, TiNi Shock shafts and the shocks were huge!! I tried getting shots of it but there were a lot of hands. Adam Drake actually let me hold it and check it out. I hope Dom got some pics of me with it. Straight up PIMP!!!

More pics later..

RC-Solutions booth.

Got to meet Scottm. Awesome guy to talk to as well as the whole staff the there. Really friendly and a pleasure..

Were the rides at the show cheaper than buying at a hobby shop?
Seems like people bought lots of stuff there.

Odd as it was..Hobbypeople was listing the same price on their website for the big items like the Revo..509. Stupid. About midday the price dropped to 469.99. I am not a big Hobbypeople fan so I let Pacific coast hobbies abouththeir pricing and they met thrier price.. So I went with them. Woohoo.

Unfortunately HP got exclusive rights to sell with 1 or 2 exceptions. Anyone else would sell only their products. Lame huh?

Awesome pics guys. Damn! Sportwerks comin' with a mini buggy? Uh oh. That could be trouble. Need one to go with my Mayhem! Good job. Sorry us East Coasters don't get to join in. Maybe next time.

The Hobby People prices were in line with online prices, which are normally less than what my LHS charges. Pacific Coast Hobbies had good deals on the high end kits from Jammin and Kyosho.

Hobby People did have a blowout on RTF helicopters. They had a palate of $99 helis completely sold by noontime.

On the show survey I asked that more vendors be allowed to sell. Hobby People had a huge booth but nothing that was really spectacular. PCH on the other hand had a booth 1/5 the size of HobbyPeople but had much higher quality kits and had a lot of foot traffic. IMO more vendors would have given buyers more choices. There were many kits that were on my shopping list but never made it to the show due to Hobby People's exclusivity deal.

Hey Dom, you look like your getting ready to grab a hand full of Drake Ass in that pic! Or your getting ready to do the "look, no hands trick!"

LMAO Damn Dom has quick hands!!! I never even saw it coming!...Umm Niether did the Drake.

A. Wow! Great pictures! Man, looks like you guys had a blast! That's it! Jet, you and I need to get out there next year, man! I'm starting a fund today (OK, not TODAY, but as soon as I get a job, I'm starting a RCX jar!)

B. Where was the CooperDillon booth?

Man, I'm glad you guys got to go but I'm jealous as well! Looks like you fellas enjoyed yourselves (and your booty). Is it at all possible to stop SD from jerking off to R/C pictures?

A: Dom had a great Idea about making a RCNT get together annually for RCX. Maybe look at getting accomodations for RCNT at the nearby hotels. Heck I am going..

B:No and if there were... it was near the bathrooms where they belong.

As far as SD...heck I could care less as long he is miles from me doing it. Me, I like the privacy of home:hehe: .

Heck ya, RCX one day, Disneyland the next. Dan stayed at a real nice hotel that was just a block or so from RCX and across the street from Disneyland.
